Breastfeeding is Beautiful
Breastfeeding in Public
When talking about public breastfeeding, it is important to bring in the movement that has been picking up speed for a couple years now. Free the Nipple is a campaign with a unified goal of providing equality for women in the way of nudity. There is a stigma around naked women in public, and these women are fighting to show the world that female toplessness should be as as accepted as male toplessness. Another big piece is the censorship placed on women online. As a result Lina started the Free the Nipple campaign to raise more awareness. This cartoon builds on the idea that is presented so much in society: commercials, posters or billboards showing naked women with their breasts almost fully exposed are not criticized, but as soon as a woman begins to nurse her child in public people take notice and ask her to move. Their message throughout all the other ads that were run along with this one was one of commitment.
FUCK YEAH BREASTFEEDING
Dear staff , your algorithm sucks. So far I am at 19 content appeals and posts marked as possibly adult content. This blog only contains images of people breastfeeding or chestfeeding, which BTW, is acceptable per your own statement.
Also a reminder that if someone is nursing around you, it is entirely unreasonable and rude to expect them to change their behavior for you or anyone else. It's not just men who don't like breast feeding. A lot of us childfree by choice don't want to see a fucking milk leach sucking on a sagging tit. That's why breast pumps exist.
